Wow this is amazing! The fluid simulation ran considerably fast, and looked(kind of) realistic!

also, I think that paying 5,000$ for a single game is too expensive since most people are indie developers, and our games will probably never make it over 1000$. If you ARE going to make it so expensive, atleast add more stuff like soft bodies or cloth because Nvidia PhysX has that, plus its free :P
you should add an indie license so that we can sell our games, but you add something like a limit on how many copies we sell, or that we have to pay you guys royalties or something

btw..I cant register on the forums. I dont get my activitation Email >.<

I think that it beats bullet and ageia becuase it is small, damn quick and has features like fluid that run fast on even non ppu graphics cards. But, I would really like to see fabric and softbodies that would make it the absolute best avaliable. To the developer, well done.

When a new version out SPE.
My reason for asking this, what a way to watch a later version (to include features such as fabric).

Sorry my bad English.

I guess this great engine is implemented by Chinese, I am so happy and excited!
By the way, I'm also doing research on physics engine now. And I see that you have already realized some of the ideas in my mind. I should make more efforts now, HAHA!
Wish you good luck!

It is useful, easy.
It is very nice!

It's an awesome library.

I worked with ODE and Bullet and also developed my own parallelized fluid simulation using SPH, but yours is orders of magnitude faster and more stable from what I can see in the Linux demo. Parallel solving is a killer feature.

I wish there was a non-commercial license like the GPL for the Linux platform so I could look at how you did your fluid simulation. I'm impressed by it's quality.

If you ever release some source code, drop me a line:

Anyway, great job!

Has SPE been used on any commercial projects? Also, even though the engine is very good, shouldn't it have a more accessible license, other that 5000USD? Let's say...like an indie license?

As far as I know, SPE haven't been used on any big commercial projects. And your advise about the license is constructive, I'll consider it, Thanks!

can you do the softbody collision detection?
what about springs,cloth?
-----------------------------------------------------
softbody and cloth are currently not supported in SPE.
